Rock the puppy lives happily in the peaceful forest until outlaws Kira the tiger and Akamimi the fox murder his mother. Rock enlists Goro, an aging stray dog, to help him in his quest for revenge. Note: This film marks the first professional animation work of Miyazaki Hayao. After three months of training at Toei-Cine he started as an inbetweener.
