Soon after birth a young squirrel comes to a farm and unfortunately gets caught by a human, who attempts to feed him to the pet cat. However, the cat feels sorry for the small squirrel and adopts him as her child, naming him Banner. Banner and the cat mother live together happily on the farm, but their happy life doesn't last for long.
