Amanatsu

Amanatsu is a CG anime short created by Kamikaze Douga, releasing on the Japanese iTunes store at the end of April 2009. The project title comes from the name of a robot that a scientist creates in this near-future sci-fi story. The scientist, Makimura Souichi, also developed the Amon perpetual motion machine that sustains the energy dome under which humans live their daily lives, 20 years after the last of the energy wars and environmental disasters had devastated the land. Makimura's 14-year-old daughter, Amane, has lived with Amanatsu since she was little. The story begins when Amanatsu grabs the key to the perpetual motion machine and sets off for the end of the world.
