Toufu Kozou

The set is Japan in the Edo era. In spite of being a youkai, Toufu Kozou is very bad at scaring people. He always angers his father, the commander of the youkai, because of his poor performance. One day, fed up with those days of unsuccessfulness and wishing to see his mother, he sets off on a journey with wise Daruma-sensei. On their way they get caught by a tanuki (who are known to hate youkai), and are locked up in a shrine. They eventually manage to break free, but get stranded in modern Japan. Here Toufu Kozou meets a little girl, Ai-chan, who notices him, although human beings are supposedly unable to see yokai. * Based on Kyougoku Natsuhiko's Toufu Kozou Sugoroku-douchuu Furidashi novel
