THE IDOLM@STER follows 13 girls from the 765 Production Studio, whose sole goal is to become the top idols in the Japanese entertainment industry. Along with the laughs, struggles and tears that are inherently part of this journey, you will cheer for the girls of IDOLM@STER as they climb their way to the top! * Based on Bandai Namco Games' raising simulation and rhythm game by the same name, in which players assume the role of producers and lead idols under their care to fame and stardom.

All of them are excited because it'll be the first time in a while they all get to perform together and they even get to sing. They all head towards the village where they're going to perform with high hopes, but when they arrive, they find themselves deep in the mountains, in a village with an extremely rural feel. Episode 6: The Choice to Move Forward Runtime: 25 minutes Air Date: 2011-08-12 Ritsuko's new idol group's hot debut, Ryuuguu Komachi. The group's members, Iori, Ami, Azusa are so busy with meet & greets, television appearances, and releasing their new debut song, they don't have time to do anything else. But the other idols, in comparison, have nothing to do at all. Episode 7: Things You Love, Things That Are Important Runtime: 25 minutes Air Date: 2011-08-19 Through an unexpected turn of events, Iori and Hibiki end up eating dinner at Yayoi's house. Yayoi's the eldest daughter in her large family, so she helps out making food and taking care of her younger brothers and sisters because her parents get home late. Today they're having their Bean Sprout Day that they have every week, so the two of them stop to get a lot of bean spouts during a sale at the supermarket and head towards Yayoi's house. Episode 12: The Last Stop on a One Way Ride Runtime: 25 minutes Air Date: 2011-09-23 Miki realizes the conversation she had with the producer when he told her that she could get into Ryuuguu Komachi if she tries hard is a misunderstanding. Miki has a loss of momentum and willpower and stops showing up to practice for their concert and doesn't even come in to check her outfit for the event. Yukiho has a "Let's Change Kikuchi Makoto" segement, and Ami and Mami have short skits that they do--there's a bunch going on in this show. Episode 20: Promise Runtime: 25 minutes Air Date: 2011-11-18 An article appears in a gossip magazine about Chihaya's past. It was about Chihaya's late-younger brother and her now-divorced parents. Due to the shock from the article, laced with malice, Cihhaya loses her voice. As she has lost her voice, she does not want to continue to be an idol and stops going to the office.
