Kizuna Ichigeki

* An original short selected as part of JAniCA's Young Animator Training Project. The reliable 13-year-old girl Todoroki Kizuna fights using her family's teachings, those of the Wadachi Ju-ken school. After winning a big tournament, the 10th ASN Martial Arts World Championship, against the reigning champion Chouyama Everest, trouble brews when it is revealed that she was a few days too young to participate. Note: All four shorts (this anime, Bannou Yasai Ninninman, Tansu Warashi. and Ojii-san no Lamp) were originally screened together in eight film theatres as part of a roadshow held between March 5 and 11, 2011. And then shown weekly between March 6 and 27, 2011 as part of MBS' TV schedule. Kizuna Ichigeki was the third to air on March 20, 2011.
