Some guy invents a suit that grants superhero powers - but the suit is snagged by his sister and she reprogams its appearance to something cuter, thus ending up creating moldiver instead of captain tokyo. Add a bit of fanservice and a mad scientist as a baddie and you have "Moldiver".
