The Robot Girls Z trio, aka Team Z, is a unit assigned to promote the future energy Energy, as well as eliminate any enemies who seek to take Photon Energy for themselves. The team's members are Z-chan, Gre-chan, and Grenda-san. Usually, the team operates from the Nerima Ward Oizumi Academy's Photon Energy District, in Tokyo. Note: The main characters are reimagined versions of well-known previous ones, in girl form: Z-chan of Mazinger Z; Gre-chan of Great Mazinger; and Grenda-san of UFO Robo Grendizer.
