Aoi, a first year in high school used to prefer indoor hobbies, but has started to become interested in mountaineering as well. It was her childhood friend Hinata who introduced her to the beauty of this outdoor activity. Taking it one step at a time, they set up a four-person tent in Hinata's yard, to then spend the night outside, together with their mountaineering friends: the younger Kokona, and their senior Kaede. Since camping alone in the mountains was vetoed by Aoi's mother. Cooking the rice and curry starts the outdoor sleepover on a good note. And the next morning's sunrise is spectacular, and it might be even prettier from Mount Fuji, or so Aoi dreams. This kindles their desire to camp on a real mountain. Hinata suggests surprising Aoi with a more ambitious mountaineering trip to a mountain with a view of Mount Fuji. They decide on Mt. Mitsutouge (1786m). And so the following Sunday the four girls are off to their next mountain... — written by foo2
